We offer a wide choice of printing methods.
Flexographic is best suited to larger runs and more simple designs. They are printed with rubber printing plates that carry a set up charge on the first order.
Litho press is a great solution for more upmarket boxes and complex artworks, and is always overall cheaper than flexo-printed boxes for orders below 2,000 pieces.
Digitally printed boxes are great for those clients looking for a very small number for a particular project. There is no set up needed.
All boxes will either be tooled to a particular size or FEFCO style.
ESC Packaging own thousands of tools so we should have an existing tool you can use, but if we don’t we can make your very own tool, with a variable cost depending on the factory and machinery being used.
Some FEFCO styles do not need tooling, for example 0201 which is a standard tape top and bottom carton. These can be made to any size you need without tooling (unless the box size is very small).

Flexo – 500 – 1,000 boxes
Litho – 250 – 500 boxes
Digital – 1 box
Delivery timescales are fluid depending on requirements. We can supply some simpler boxes within 5-7 days while more complex designs might take up to 8 weeks.
If you have a deadline, please let us know at the start because we will always have a fast delivery solution but it should be quoted accordingly.
All of the boards we use have FSC accreditation.
The inks used are water, vegetable or non toxic eco-friendly toner, depending on the printing method offered.
Most of these boxes are UK made so offer a low carbon footprint due to transportation savings. Imported boxes arrive via truck or sea into our local port, Grangemouth, and we try to consolidate orders so they don’t travel alone. This
helps to keep the carbon footprint as low as possible.

Artwork and printing plate costs are charged extra.
Note that as with all flexographically made products, there is a 10% tolerance allowed on the final quantity made and we always charge for the exact number produced.
