ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Simplex Gift Box is a large category covering a wide range of styles of boxes. Simplex means single board, not corrugated and offers a huge array of choice in terms of design and print.

We love exploring all the styles and options with our clients, Its all about finding the best possible solution for you!

Whether its a gift box, Point of Sale (POS) box or a food box, we can design the perfect solution for you.

PRINTING OPTIONS

Litho press or Digital options are available. Litho is best suited for orders over 250 while Digital is better for small numbers or multiple versions (several scents or flavours) or where sequential numbers are needed

We can also offer a huge range of finishes listed below.

SIZES

We are superb printing up to sheet size B1 (1020mm x 720mm) but we can also supply large format too when a very large box is needed.

Any size is possible.

Any style is possible.

The only limitation is your imagination!

FINISHING TOUCHES

The boxes can be tailored to suit your exact needs and include extras such as:

Coloured, White or Kraft boards
A vast range of grades of boards
Die Cut shapes and Windows with/without acetate covering
Clever fitments for bottles & breakables
CMYK + 4 spot colour (8 colour) printing
Inside and Outside printing
Digital print up to B2 sheet size
All over embossing and texture
Spot emboss / deboss
Spot UV
Matt, Gloss, Soft Touch and Anti Scuff Lamination

MINIMUM ORDER (MOQ)

Digital printing starts are just 1 box.

We don’t have a minimum order for Litho printed boxes but pricing usually becomes attractive at 1000 boxes.

DELIVERY TIMESCALE

Depending on the box ordered and extra finishes neededk, delivery can be as fast as just a few days up to 16 weeks.

We offer all of our clients the choice to have their order made in Scotland, the UK, Europe or the Far East.

As a very general rule of thumb, the further the boxes have to travel the longer the lead time and the lower the price

ENVIRONMENTAL CREDENTIALS

All boards used are FSC accredited.

All inks used are vegetable based (litho) or non toxic toner (digital).

All glue used is non toxic water based and vegan.

Non laminated boxes without any spot UV or Foiling are easy to recycle. Those with these extra finishing touches can also be recycled by laminate stripping which is an extra step in the recycling process.

Your boxes are unique so ask us for the eco credentials of your own order! We are always happy to share certificates and environmental details.

PRICING

All prices are calculated individually based upon your requirements.
We don’t have a price list.
However, as an example of pricing please see the illustration below.

L25cm x W20cm x H10cm
400gsm / 540 micron white Folding Box Board style FEFCO 0427 boxes, printed CMYK and finished with matt or gloss lamination.

This includes delivery to 1 mainland UK address and all your set up artwork and printing plate costs.
