ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Kraft paper reels have been used by businesses for generations, they are still popular today due to their image as being one of the most “eco-friendly” packaging solutions. ESC Packaging offer a large range of kraft reels, in brown or white paper which can be colour washed to any shade you like and branded simply with your 1 or 2 colour logo. PRINTING OPTIONS

Typically we offer flexographic printing using rubber printing plates. We use non toxic inks, these can be water based on non toxic solvent based. Larger orders may be gravure printed using an engraved metal cylinder. As with all printed reels, there is a repeat pattern printed down the paper, this can be a 305mm repeat or a 500mm repeat.

For very short runs and requirements we can also digitally print lengths of paper using our reel fed HP digital printer. This is a great option for sampling or large format sheets and reels.

SIZES

Standard widths and sizes include:

W500mm x 300 metres | W508mm x 300 metres | W600mm x 300 metres | W750mm x 285 metres or 333 metres

FINISHING TOUCHES

The reels are quite standard but there are some variances we can offer:

40gsm, 60gsm, 70gsm or 90gsm (not all widths in all gsm)
Brown or white kraft including wet strength
Flood ink coverage / Colour wash
305mm or 500mm design repeat down the roll
Pantone matching
Variable roll length
Standard core 76mm diametre but can be changed
Standard roll diametre is 200mm but can be changed

DELIVERY TIMESCALE

Our standard lead time is 3-4 weeks but for 20% surcharge we can deliver within 2 weeks.

ENVIRONMENTAL CREDENTIALS

FSC accredited papers and cores. The inks used are water or non toxic solvent based. All papers and cores can be recycled.

All prices are calculated individually based upon your requirements.

This includes delivery to 1 mainland UK address, UK production and all your set up artwork and printing plate costs.
